The Penguins received some tough news tonight, one of the Players the Pens have not only counted on for scoring but has scored several goals in this playoff series will be out for the next game due to a 1 game suspension.and that guy is James Neal. This of course will hurt the teams efforts moving forward with absolutely no room to spare as far as losing goes. They will also be without Asham for 4 games though he as not played much this series anyways. Craig Adams will not be able to play either for he received a fighting major/game misconduct in the last 5 minutes of the game on Sunday. Only 1 of those players are vital to the Pens, but they will miss all three at this point.

The one thing I thought we would see more of in the last day or 2 would have been some apologies. But no one has really come out and said anything of the sort. Even Coach Bylsma defended his Captain’s play the other day saying the fight was just Sid trying to get his team back in it.

I will have a more detailed report tomorrow on the upcoming game and the prospects of a comeback. Though this team might have gotten just what the doctor ordered in 3 days off in between the 3rd and 4th game.

Topics: Arron Asham, James Neal, Sidney Crosby
