Its either win or go home for The Pittsburgh Penguins. Staring at a 3 game hole, the Penguins will have to pull the ultimate sports comeback, to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers and advance to the 2nd round.
It is not the Penguins havent been scoring goals, it is the fact they cant keep a lead. The Pens have held leads in all 3 losses to the Flyers. So who do you throw the blame too for this hole. Has it been the Defenseman? i think they have a huge part in it. Allowing several shorthanded goals and not being able to get back on D has hurt the Pens extrememly. You take away several mistakes that the D has made in this series the Pens could be leading and not facing elimination. Has it been Dan Bylsma not switching up the gameplan for the Penguins? Their are several questions that need answerwed and the Pens will have to do this quickly if they are going to have a fighting chance.
Tonights game will show if the Pens have what it takes to make a comback in a week full of drama. Drama consisting of Jordan Staal saying he might not return to Pittsburgh, Malkin already looking forward to the World Championships, and the suspensions. Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time for such stories to pop out into the media. This all goes back to what I think has been the big problem for the Pens, not being focused for these playoffs.
I have still have faith in the Penguins. If the Pens can get this series back to Pittsburgh, I believe they have a fighting chance of coming back. That will give them Neal and Adams back from suspension. It will take alot of determination from this team and maybe Malkin scoring a few goals in this series. I am taking the Pens in tonights game. In the past they have shown what kind of team they are when their backs are agaisnt the wall.
Who do you think wins tonights game in Philadelphia? Will Malkin score tonight? Will Marc Andre Fluery step up tonight?
