Penguins training camp roster features six WBS Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins training camp begins officially at 3:10 p.m. this afternoon at Southpointe and features six Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins vying for a spot on the official Penguins roster.

The six are defensemen Robert Bortuzzo, Simon Despres and Brian Strait and forwards Beau Bennett, Jayson Megna and Eric Tangradi. The training camp roster is 26 players and must be cut down to a maximum of 23 players and a minimum of 20. However, if 23 are chosen only 20 may dress for games.
