Letang Out; Reese In

After leaving practice early this morning, defenseman Kris Letang will not be in the lineup tonight when the Penguins take on the Capitals.

What is being called as a lower-body injury, Letang is hurt. But hopefully he will be able to return after tonights game soon, considering the team has already lost Matt Niskanen.

Newly-recalled defenseman Dylan Reese will be slotted into Letang’s spot and he is paired with Simon Despres. The rest of the defense is the same.

The Pens can ill afford to lose Letang for any considerable amount of time. Already skating one defenseman down, it would be devastating blow.
