The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that they have traded goalie Patrick Killeen to the Columbus Blue Jackets for future considerations – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.
Killeen, 22, was drafted in the sixth-round (180th overall) of 2008 by the Pens and has yet to reach the NHL.
The young goaltender has played 35 games between the Wheeling Nailers and the Orlando Solar Bears, stopping 877 saves so far this season.
