The Pittsburgh Penguins, who are already without a few prominent players, will not have defenseman Kris Letang, forward Beau Bennett and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury when they take on the Ottawa Senators tonight.

Head coach Dan Bylsma said Monday he will keep Letang out of the lineup due to food poisoning.

Although Letang is highly-regarded as one of the top defenseman in the NHL, he certainly has had issues with staying healthy this season.

But when the star d-man is active, he’s been a force, registering 34 points (5G, 29A) in 32 games.

The contest tonight will bring Letang’s total number of games missed to 13.

Young prospect Bennett will also be out with an upper-body injury and the severity of it is unclear as of right now.

However, the young forward probably wishes he could be in there, considering the limited lineup spots and the playoffs beginning soon.

Bennett is listed as day-to-day.

Fleury will miss the game to be with his wife–who is in labor.
