Every member of the Pittsburgh Penguins was accounted for in the teams’ morning skate Friday except top penalty-killer Craig Adams and Norris finalist Kris Letang.
The timing of their absences is a little peculiar and head coach Dan Bylsma has said that the starting lineup for Friday’s Game 2 is “non-negotiable” — so we’ll have to wait and see if they’ll dress.
They each skated yesterday and as of right now both of them are listed as questionable.
Letang has logged 7 points (2G, 5A) in seven playoffs contests and has been a prominent force for the Pens top power play unit.
Adams has also played in every game for the Pens so far this postseason — posting one assist and contributing immensely on the penalty-kill.
Jussi Jokinen took Adams’ spot and Mark Eaton slotted in Letang’s for the morning session.
