Pens Forward Brenden Morrow Skates Friday; Out For Game 5?

Pittsburgh Penguins’ forward Brenden Morrow was back on the ice for the teams’ practice Friday morning – however he did not skate on a line according to Sam Kasan of the Pens’ website.

Morrow – who didn’t play in Game 4 after he left Tuesday’s practice early – looks like he could potentially sit-out Game 5 as well.

We don’t know what the exact reason was for Morrow’s absence, but we do know that whatever was possibly ailing Morrow wasn’t preventing him from participating Friday.

The 34-year-old winger has played in nine playoff games thus far – registering three points (1G, 2A) and skating to a minus-3 rating.

Forward Beau Bennett got the call last game and he skated on the fourth-line with Jussi Jokinen and Craig Adams in Friday’s practice – so look for the California kid to start again.

Pens look to close out the Sens tonight in Pittsburgh at 7:30 p.m.
