Report: Pens Acquire Harry Zolnierczyk From Ducks

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly acquired forward Harry Zolnierczyk from the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Alex Grant – according to the Pens’ website.

Zolnierczyk, who was traded from Philadelphia to Anaheim this past season, spent most of his time in the American Hockey League.

In 61 games between the Adirondack Phantoms and the Norfolk Admirals, Zolnierczyk registered 19 points (11G, 8A) and skated to a minus-19 rating.

Zolnierczyk has played in 44 total NHL contests and potted seven points (3G, 4A) – all with the Flyers.

It was a minor move for Pittsburgh. Bigger decisions await the club this offseason.
