Report: Pens Re-Sign Paul Thompson For Another Year

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly re-signed forward Paul Thompson to a one-year contract worth of $550,000 – according to the Pens’ website.

The 24-year-old forward spent last season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pens, where he skated in 73 games between the regular-season and playoffs.

Scoring 29 points (20G, 9A) during the regular-season, Thompson tallied six points (3G, 3A) in the postseason and finished with a plus-1 rating.

He will most likely start the 2013-14 campaign in WBS.
