Report: Pens Re-Assign Bobby Farnham To WBS

The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly sent forward Bobby Farnham down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the team’s website.

Farnham, 24, spent the majority of last season with the WBS Pens’, and also played nine contests for the Wheeling Nailers in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).

In 65 regular-season games with WBS, Farnham compiled 11 points (3G, 8A) and skated to a plus-1 rating.  For the nine games he was with the Nailers, he registered four points (3G, 1A) and skated to a minus-2 rating.

Pittsburgh is now down to 34 players, and must make 11 more cuts in the coming days.
