The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly sent forwards Chris Conner and Harry Zolnierczyk down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton - according to the teams’ twitter handle.

Conner played in two contests and Zolnericzyk performed in three while called up from WBS.

They each failed to register a point; however, both are tied for second on WBS for goals-scored with three a piece.  Forward Brian Gibbons leads the team with four.

Pittsburgh plays against the New York Islanders, Friday, in the CONSOL Energy Center at 7 p.m.
