Report: Pens Re-Assign Jayson Megna To WBS

The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly sent forward Jayson Megna down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the team’s website.

While up with the club, Megna compiled three points (2G, 1A) in six contests.

Unfortunately for Megna, the team just had too many forwards on their roster to find any playing time for him. Now, he’ll most certainly get all the action he needs down at WBS.

Before he was called up, Megna was having a great start to the season in WBS, registering five points (3G, 2A) in six games and skating to a plus-8 rating.
