Pens’ Lose Dustin Jeffrey To Stars

The Dallas Stars have reportedly claimed forward Dustin Jeffrey off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins Sunday - according to the Stars’ website.

Jeffrey, 25, was selected by Pittsburgh in the sixth-round (171st overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, and has been in the Pens’ organization ever since.

Amidst his sixth season with Pittsburgh, Jeffrey played in 10 games for the team this season, recording one assist and skating to a minus-2 rating.

He’s performed in 100 career NHL contests, and has compiled 28 points (15G, 13A).
