Pittsburgh Penguins’ forward James Neal has reportedly been suspended five games for kneeing Bruins’ forward Brad Marchand, according to the NHL’s website.

Neal will also reportedly be going without pay for those contests.

Skating up-ice during Saturday’s contest against Boston, Neal kneed Marchand in the head 11:06 into the first-period, resulting in a two-minute minor penalty.

Certainly a blow for Neal, considering he’s been red-hot recently. He has 20 points (10G, 10A) in just 16 games this season, and is currently on a four-game point streak.
