The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly recalled forward Brian Gibbons from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the team’s website.

Gibbons, 25, has played in five games for Pittsburgh this season, and collected two points (1G, 1A) while skating to an even rating. In 23 contests for WBS, he leads the team in points (27) and assists (18).

With forward Jayson Megna going down last game, Gibbons is likely to see time on either the second or the third-line for Pittsburgh. While he was up in his first stint, Gibbons played on the third-line with forward Brandon Sutter.
