Report: Pens Recall Forward Harry Zolnierczyk

The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly recalled forward Harry Zolnierczyk from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the team’s website.

Zolnierczyk, 26, has played in eight games for Pittsburgh so far this season, and he’s scored one goal while skating to a minus-1 rating.

Zolnierczyk was demoted to WBS on Tuesday, however, the injury to forward Pascal Dupuis is probably the reason why he’s up again.

No word on what the other injured Penguins’ statuses are for tonight, but my guess is that the team will finally get forward Tanner Glass and defenseman Rob Scuderi back in the lineup.

Pittsburgh’s got the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena tonight. The game can be seen on the ROOT Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.
