Kris Letang Skates and Could Return Tonight

Pittsburgh Penguins’ defenseman Kris Letang reportedly skated Sunday without an apparatus and had a full range of motion – according to the head coach Dan Bylsma and the team’s Twitter handle.

Although nothing has been confirmed just yet, the news makes it all the more probable that he’ll be inserted back into the lineup for Sunday’s contest. Letang’s injury wasn’t too serious, however, the wound that he had surgery on to clean an infection needed time to heal.

If he isn’t a go for tonight, you can almost expect him to absolutely return on Tuesday. With Scuderi almost inevitably due to be reinserted within the next two games, Pittsburgh will just need Paul Martin to complete their top-4 defensive crew that’s missed a considerable amount of time with various injuries.
