The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly sent forward Harry Zolnierczyk and defenseman Brian Dumoulin down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the team’s website.

Zolnierczyk has scored one goal in nine contests for Pittsburgh this season, and Dumoulin’s registered one assist in six games.

The moves must mean that both forward Evgeni Malkin and defenseman Kris Letang are close to returning, or will come back for Tuesday’s game.
