Pittsburgh Penguins’ defenseman Kris Letang and forward Evgeni Malkin have returned to game-action – according to the team’s website.
Letang has been out since Dec. 13 because of an open-wound infection, and Malkin’s been sidelined since Dec. 14 with a lower-body injury.
Letang’s missed 10 games and Malkin’s been absent from nine.
In 24 contests this season, Letang has collected 11 points (6G, 5A) and skated to a minus-6 rating. Malkin has performed in 32 games and compiled 41 points (9G, 32A) while skating to a plus-2 rating.
