Pittsburgh Penguins’ injured forward Andrew Ebbett reportedly practiced with the squad Tuesday – according to the team’s Twitter handle.

Ebbett, 31, hasn’t practiced since he broke his ankle on Dec. 5 in a game against the San Jose Sharks. He’s missed the last 19 contests.
Ebbett’s lineup spot is in question though. Currently loaded with forwards – now that Chuck Kobasew, Jayson Megna, and James Neal are back from injury – it’s hard to predict whether or not Ebbett will be playing a whole lot.
Considering he’s a center, Ebbett may get a chance to go every-other game with Zach Sill while Joe Vitale is out with an injury. Should Vitale make it back in time before Ebbett returns to game-action, you can presumably expect him or Sill to be demoted.
In five contests this season for Pittsburgh, Ebbett has collected one assist.
