The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly activated forward Andrew Ebbett from injured reserve – according to the team’s Twitter handle.
Ebbett, 31, has been out since Dec. 5, after he suffered a broken ankle in a game against the San Jose Sharks.
Unfortunately for Ebbett, due to the fact that the team had just gotten three forwards and a defenseman back from being injured, his re-assignment to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton should be imminent.
Ebbett has skated in five games for Pittsburgh and collected one assist.
In 18 games for WBS, Ebbett has compiled 15 points (6G, 9A) and skated to a plus-4 rating.
