Pittsburgh Penguins’ forward Chris Kunitz and defenseman Matt Niskanen reportedly missed Wednesday morning’s practice, and are both deemed questionable for tonight’s tilt against the Buffalo Sabres – according to Josh Yohe of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Both of them have performed in every game so far this season, and head coach Dan Bylsma is hoping that their absences this morning are only for maintenance purposes – per the team’s Twitter handle.
M-A Fleury will start in goal. Kunitz and Niskanen are “hopefully maintenance,” per #Pens coach Bylsma

This may or may not have a direct correlation to defenseman Kris Letang’s illness, given the fact that neither of them were injured – at least to our understanding – following Monday’s game against Ottawa.
Both Kunitz and Niskanen are considered game-time decisions.
Tonight’s contest can be seen on the NBC Sports Network, and is set to start at 7:30 p.m.
Both Kunitz and Niskanen were able to go Monday.
Kunitz failed to appear on the stat-sheet, but Niskanen logged a power play assist, as Pittsburgh downed Buffalo 5-1.
