The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero have reportedly sent down forwards Brian Gibbons, Jayson Megna, and Harry Zolnierczyk to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the team’s Twitter Handle.

Gibbons, 25, has played in 19 games for Pittsburgh this season and collected nine points (4G, 5A) while skating to a plus-3 rating.
Despite missing significant time in WBS, Gibbons still ranks second on the team in scoring with 27 points (9G, 18A).
Megna, 24, has performed in 24 contests, and compiled seven points (4G, 3A) with a plus-2 rating.
Zolnierczyk, 26, has notched two goals in 11 games for Pittsburgh.
The re-assignments may have something to do with the Olympic break, however, it also speculates that forwards Beau Bennett, Taylor Pyatt, and Joe Vitale will all return after the layoff.
