Pens Injury Report 3/18: Kunitz, Neal Possible for Tonight

Injured Pittsburgh Penguins’ forwards Chris Kunitz and James Neal reportedly practiced for the second consecutive day – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle – and, in my opinion, are expected back in the lineup for tonight’s outing.

Both Kunitz and Neal slotted on their usual lines, seemingly indicating they’re now healthy enough to perform against Dallas tonight. Nothing has been confirmed though.

The two forwards missed the last two tilts with separate ailments – Kunitz (lower-body), Neal (concussion).

Forward Beau Bennett practiced as well, however, he wasn’t included in line rushes – per Sam Kasan of the Pens’ website.

Although it’s vague, it also seems as though defenseman Kris Letang was at practice as well – per the Pens’ Twitter.

The Pens’ Twitter handle claims that “all expected players” are at the morning skate, to me, implying Letang is in fact there. If that’s the case, this marks the second straight day he’s practiced.

Tonight’s game can be seen on the ROOT Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.

UPDATE

Letang is officially confirmed to be at the Pens’ morning skate – per the Pens’ Twitter handle.
