Report: Marcel Goc to Miss Three Weeks

Pittsburgh Penguins’ forward Marcel Goc is reportedly expected to miss the next three weeks with a foot injury he suffered in last night’s tilt against Los Angeles – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Goc crashed awkwardly into the boards and was favoring his left foot/ankle as he went down the runway. Consider this to be a break that nothing, well, broke. Any longer prognosis and it would have certainly been an absolute bummer for Pittsburgh.

Goc only played in 8:22-minutes last night, and he garnered an assist on Taylor Pyatt’s tally.

In 12 games for Pittsburgh, Goc has collected two assists.
