Pens Injury Report 4/1: Letang, Martin, Vitale Practice

Injured Pittsburgh Penguins’ defensemen Kris Letang and Paul Martin reportedly continue to practice, and so does forward Joe Vitale – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Martin, who had surgery to repair a broken hand back in February, returned to full practice on Monday, and is speculated to return Saturday.

There’s still no word on Letang’s end as far as his return status, but it’s nice to see he has yet to have a setback. However, he doesn’t have much time to return, and I’m weary of him returning in the postseason.

Vitale looks as though he’ll probably return the same day as Martin does. While he still remains week-to-week due to a mid-body injury, because he’s practicing at a regular rate, an appearance in Saturday’s contest seems very possible.

The game tonight can be seen on the ROOT Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.
