Report: Pens Ink Forward Scott Wilson to Entry-Deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly signed forward Scott Wilson to a two-year entry-level deal – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Wilson has spent the last three seasons skating for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks, and has compiled 95 points (39G, 56A) through 109 games.

Selected by Pittsburgh in the seventh-round (209th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Wilson won the 2011-12 Hockey East Rookie of the Year.

Losing to Boston College 4-3 in the NCAA Northeast Regional final, Wilson’s collegiate career is now over, and will most likely join Wilkes-Barre/Scranton next season.
