Report: Pens Send Forward Andrew Ebbett Down to WBS

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly sent forward Andrew Ebbett back down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Ebbett was recalled back on Apr. 4, and he performed in two games for Pittsburgh in his short stint.

Ebbett’s time in Pittsburgh this season is likely over. In nine contests, Ebbett dished out one assist and skated to a minus-4 rating.

Down in WBS, Ebbett is tied for third on the team in scoring with 37 points (12G, 25A) and is skating to a plus-10 rating. He’s averaging nearly a point-per-game in the AHL.
