Report: Pens Send Forward Adam Payerl Down to WBS

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly sent forward Adam Payerl down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

The 23-year-old made his NHL debut on Apr. 6, after being recalled that day.

In two games for Pittsburgh, Payerl failed to record a point, however, he provided a steady forecheck on the fourth-line, and delivered four shots on net. Payerl skated to a minus-1 rating.

For WBS this season, Payerl’s performed in 38 contests, and collected nine points (3G, 6A).
