Injured Pittsburgh Penguins’ forwards Chris Conner, Evgeni Malkin, and Joe Vitale all reportedly skated in an optional session on Sunday – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.
Players still on the ice: Evgeni Malkin, Chris Conner, Joe Vitale, and Marc-Andre Fleury.

The earliest either of them have been in the lineup was on Mar. 23, when Malkin hurt his foot against St. Louis.
Given all of them have been doing ice-sessions for a little while now, the time between Sunday and the playoffs should be enough to heal the three wounded warriors.
Conner has been out since he broke his foot in practice on Mar. 9, and was given a timetable of 4-6 weeks for recovery. Malkin received a 2-3 week period for rehabbing his ailing foot. And Vitale was deemed day-to-day, after suffering a mid-body injury in a game against Detroit on Mar. 20.
There’s still no word on Goc’s situation, nor Vokoun’s impending arrival.
