Pens Injury Report 4/20: Goc Skates, Gibbons is Day-to-Day

Injured Pittsburgh Penguins’ forward Marcel Goc was reportedly able to skate on Sunday, while forward Brian Gibbons is being listed as day-to-day after leaving Saturday’s Game 2 – according to head coach Dan Bylsma and the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Goc has not played since he left a game against the Los Angeles Kings on Mar. 27 after suffering a foot ailment, and there’s no timetable for his return, other than the original three-week prognosis.

Goc has missed the last 11 games between the regular-season and postseason.

Gibbons, although he made his presence felt with two goals, played just 2:26-minutes in Saturday’s Game 2 defeat to Columbus. The cause of his disappearance is unknown, and there’s no indication on if he’ll be available for Game 3.

Monday’s Game 3 can be seen on the NBC Sports Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.
