Pens Injury Report 4/22: Conner, Gibbons, Goc Practice

Injured Pittsburgh Penguins’ forwards Chris Conner, Brian Gibbons, and Marcel Goc all reportedly practiced on Tuesday – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Gibbons’ left Saturday’s Game 2 after just 2:26-minutes of ice-time, and the details surrounding his injury are unknown. This marks the first time Gibbons has skated since his Game 2 departure, and remains on a day-to-day schedule.

Goc, whose missed the last 12 games between the regular-season and postseason with a foot injury, looks to be making significant progress. Originally given a timetable of three-weeks, Goc is said to be out for the first-round – per Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh-Tribune-Review - but that’s not definite.

Goc has not played since Mar. 27.

Conner has been out since Dec. 31 with foot and hand injuries. Recently promoted from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Conner seems all but ready to go. His chances of playing are relatively small though, given the Pens’ current forward depth.

Wednesday’s Game 4 can be seen on the NBC Sports Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.
