Goc, whose been practicing for a few days now, skated alongside Craig Adams and Tanner Glass. Goc’s impending return is great news for Pittsburgh, considering he’s an excellent face-off guy, and a pivotal forechecker.
Goc has been sidelined with a foot injury he suffered in a game against the Los Angeles Kings on Mar. 27, and has missed the last 13 games between the regular-season and postseason.
The 30-year-old was originally given a timetable of three weeks to return.
In 12 games for Pittsburgh, Goc has collected two assists.
Saturday’s Game 5 can be seen on the NBC Sports Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.
