Pens Injury Report 5/13: Orpik Doubtful For Game 7

Pittsburgh Penguins’ defenseman Brooks Orpik reportedly missed the team’s Monday morning skate – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle – as is now doubtful for Game 7.

The specific details regarding Orpik’s ailment are unknown, and there’s no indication he’ll be ready to play in the next round – should Pittsburgh win Monday.

The only information regarding his injury is that it’s separate from the one that caused him to miss five games prior to his Game 4 departure – per Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Orpik has only been able to perform in five games this postseason, and just one tilt in their current series (Game 4). He’s recorded two points (1G, 1A) and skated to a plus-6 rating.

Game 7 can be seen on the NBC Sports Network, and is set to start at 7 p.m.
