Report: Pens Trade James Neal to Nashville

James Neal is no longer a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

According to NHL columnist Pierre LeBrun, Pittsburgh has reportedly dealt Neal to the Nashville Predators for forwards Patric Hornqvist and Nick Spaling.

Neal spent four seasons with the Penguins, and he compiled 184 points (89G, 95A) in 199 regular-season contests. He garnered 22 points (11G, 11A) in 38 postseason games.

Hornqvist has played six seasons with the Predators, and has collected 216 points (106G, 1110A) in 363 regular-season games. He’s registered eight points (3G, 5A) in 24 playoff tilts.

Spaling has played five seasons with Nashville, and has compiled 84 points (40G, 44A) in 297 regular-season games. He’s potted seven points (2G, 7A) in 28 playoff contests.
