Pens Draft Defenseman Jeff Taylor in Seventh Round


The Pittsburgh Penguins have selected defenseman Jeff Taylor in the seventh round (203rd overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.

Taylor was the last selection for Pittsburgh.

Taylor, 20, played for Union College last season, and is listed as a defenseman with a left-handed shot – per Eliteprospects.com.

In 41 games for the Dutchmen this past season, Taylor recorded 16 points (3G, 13A) and skated to a plus-21 rating.
