Pens Draft Forward Anthony Angello in Fifth Round


The Pittsburgh Penguins have selected forward Anthony Angello in the fifth round (145th overall) of the NHL Draft.

Angello, 18, played for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) last season, and is listed as a center with a right-handed shot – per Eliteprospects.com.

Angello took to Twitter to express his excitement.

In 58 games for the Lancers this past season, Angello garnered 21 points (11G, 10A) and skated to a minus-10 rating.

Angello will play for Cornell University in the 2015-16 campaign.
