Pittsburgh Penguins Sign Blake Comeau To One-Year Deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly signed forward Blake Comeau to a one-year, $700,000 deal, according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.

Comeau, 28, has spent the last season and a half in Columbus, and compiled 21 points (7G, 14A) in 70 regular-season games.

A minor signing for Pittsburgh, Comeau will provide a secondary scoring presence with the team, which was certainly lacking last season.

Not too long ago, Comeau was a 40-point scorer.

Back in 2010-11, Comeau produced 46 points (24G, 22A) with the New York Islanders.
