The Pittsburgh Penguins have received their long-awaited 2013 schedule.

Opening the first two contests on the road in Philadelphia and in New York, the Atlantic Division looks to heat up right from the get-go.  The Pens play 10 out of their first 16 games away from the CONSOL Energy Center, so it’ll be a test right to start.

Another thing to point out, there are no matches against the Western Conference teams.  This is for obvious reasons; but when you think about it, the only time fans will see a Western versus Eastern Conference team will be in the finals–weird.
