In Friday’s matchup against Team Austria, Canada’ captain Sidney Crosby posted his first point of the tournament, an assist, in his team’s 6-1 victory.

But perhaps what was more impressive, was a play he made on his stomach.

Falling backwards, Crosby flung his stick at the puck, which went around an Austrian’ defenseman, and caromed off the boards back to his blade, then centered the puck on one knee.

It has gotten to the point where you’re not surprised when he does this. The wand he waves acquires more magic every time you watch him.

Although he has yet to register a goal, the Olympic hockey is still early, and I fully expect him to get on the board in his next outing.
