The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly called up forward Chris Conner from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Monday – according to the Pens’ Twitter handle.
Conner, whose missed the last 42 contests between the regular-season and postseason with hand and foot injuries, was originally sent down to WBS to work on his conditioning.
Conner performed in two games for WBS, and fired just one shot on goal while skating to a minus-2 rating.
There’s no indication that Conner will be suiting up for tonight’s Game 3, however, he did participate in the Pens’ morning skate on Monday.
In 19 games for Pittsburgh this season, Conner has collected five points (4G, 1A) and skated to a minus-3 rating.
Conner has not played since Dec. 31.
