7. St. Louis Blues
The Blues are in the top-five for center depth across the NHL and still possess solid complimenting pieces for their physical, defensive style of hockey. However, trading TJ Oshie may prove to be a bad decision in the long run.
I understand what Troy Brouwer offers, but I’m not sure he’ll have the impact that St. Louis is looking for. They’re a team that’s right on the cusp of being a true Cup contender, but this season could be the last chance for this group. If they witness another disappointing early playoff exit, there’s likely to be a shake-up for 2016-17.
