6. Washington Capitals
The Capitals definitely have their question marks on defense with Brooks Orpik getting older and the loss of Mike Green. But, adding TJ Oshie and Justin Williams improves this already dangerous offensive lineup.
You’ll notice multiple teams from the Metro sitting atop these NHL power rankings. That division is likely the most improved in the league, and the Caps are a huge reason for that. Lookout if Ovie goes on a scoring tear like he did in 2014-15.
