The latest fantasy hockey rankings are out and draft season is upon us. This summer saw the Metropolitan Division stockpile high-profile players that are sure to go in the early rounds this fall. However, there are quite a few names that will benefit from this additions but could fall to you in later rounds.

Names like Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel and Alex Ovechkin are obviously going in the top 10-12 picks. Goaltenders like Braden Holtby will also be gone quick and Marc-Andre Fleury is always popular in fantasy due to racking up wins. So, I look beyond those names and bring you a list of underrated players that are likely to have a big impact this season.

I based this on Yahoo’s fantasy rankings for 2015-16. Most platforms are very similar in rankings, so these will likely stand pat with other providers as well.
