The Three Teams Preventing a Pens’ ‘Three-peat’

ISportsWeb believes there are three teams preventing the Pittsburgh Penguins from notching a third consecutive Stanley Cup. According to the article, the Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers will play a factor in preventing a third back-to-back win. Tampa had a setback this season with the loss of Steven Stamkos, recently signed former Pen Chris Kunitz and are ready for a season to compete. The Leafs have an abundance of young power in Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander and will do everything in their power for a longer playoff run. Lastly, Edmonton against Pittsburgh is the Stanley Cup Final every hockey fan wants (Connor McDavis vs. Sidney Crosby, anyone?). Still, these teams might not have the edge to stop the Pens.
