Former Penguins D-Man Heads to KHL

Multiple sources have stated that former Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Simon Despres has signed with the KHL. It was stated that Depres signed a one-year deal with Slovan of the KHL for the upcoming season. [NBC Sports]

NHL’s Top Pittsburgh Penguins Prospects revealed who they believe are the Penguins top prospects. Daniel Sprong and Zach Aston-Reese are among two prospects who will be fighting for a roster spot with the Pittsburgh Penguins this season. []

NCAA free agent Will Butcher is a highly coveted player to sign this offseason. The Hobey Baker winner has received calls from many teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, with offers to sign the d-man to an entry-level contract.
