Simply put, I just want the Pittsburgh Penguins to acquire the player they’ve been trying to acquire all offseason–a third-line centre.

We’ve looked at all the options. Tyler Bozak? Jordan Staal? Matt Duchene? Riley Sheahan? We’ve analyzed them all and honestly it’s about time we pull the trigger.

We’ve waited and waited and there still isn’t a solution to our problem. No matter who we end up acquiring, it’ll only make this team better.

I know we have cap issues now and it’s better to be patient rather than making a dumb move, but we need to fill that hole in time for the regular season either way. If I was GM, I’d be taking a look at either Tyler Bozak or Riley Sheahan and Toronto and Detroit would be looking for prospects or draft picks. These are expendable for us.
