The Pittsburgh Penguins had their home opener last night against the St. Louis Blues. Highlights from the game included the raising of the Pens’ consecutive Stanley Cup banner and a huge game-tying goal from Conor Sheary. Unfortunately, the rally to retake the game didn’t last and Alex Pietrangelo notched an OT win for the Blues. Justin Schultz, Olli Maatta, Sidney Crosby and Sheary all notched goals in the game and Matt Murray made 29 saves in the 5-4 loss.
Next, the Penguins will take on the Chicago Blackhawks in Chicago tonight at 8:30 p.m.

The Penguins have officially had their 2017-18 season home opener, which means the Stanley Cup banner for the 2016-17 has officially reached the rafters.
