The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to play the Florida Panthers tomorrow in a rematch of last Saturday’s game.

The Pittsburgh Penguins came away with a 4-3 win against Florida on Saturday. Now we will be facing them again and it’s our game to win.

We played a strong game against the Panthers in our last meeting. If we can repeat a performance like that, we should be in a good spot to come out with the victory once again.

But of course, there’s always room for improvement. Here are three keys to the game.

1) Play Better Defensively

Defence has been a real concern for the Penguins during this recent stretch of games.

Our last four games have all been settled by just a one goal differential. We can score, but we can’t seem to keep the puck out of the back of our own net. This is definitely something we need to be stronger with if we want to keep rolling with these wins.

2) Better Performance in Net

Along with defence, our goaltending has also been a concern during this last stretch of games.

In every game except our one shutout effort against the Nashville Predators, we have allowed at least two goals in. This needs to improve if we want to consistently win games.

3) Score First

In every game that we’ve lost, we scored second, except for game number one. In every game that we won, we scored first.

It seems as though we need to get the lead right off-the-bat to help out with our confidence. Once we get it rolling, we’re able to hold out for the win. With that being said, we need to make sure we get on the scoreboard first.
